A new build barn construction designed to emulate the charm of the original structure, as part of a Class Q planning conversion.
This innovative project showcases our commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
Engineered timber I-joists, filled with woodfibre insulation, form the backbone of the building, providing thermal performance while minimising the embodied carbon footprint.
The inclusion of a structural insulation layer beneath the raft slab ensures complete envelopment of the structure in insulation, effectively mitigating cold bridging and further enhancing energy efficiency.
