Padel Social Club in Wandsworth is set to open a new facility on the rooftop of the Southside Shopping Centre's parking structure. This innovative development will feature six enclosed padel courts, a bar, dining facilities, co-working spaces, and wellness amenities like changing rooms and showers​.

The project has been approved by Wandsworth Council, who praised the use of an underutilised space to enhance local amenities and provide more sports facilities for the community.  This new padel centre aims to foster community connections and promote the fastest growing UK sport.

The aspiration is to negate any strengthening to the existing 1960's carpark by balancing the existing design imposed loads against the new imposed loading and the selfweight of the new lightweight steel structure.
