Devise Engineers were appointed to provide structural engineering services for the complete façade upgrade of a contemporary residential block in Woking.

A detailed analysis of the existing floor slabs was conducted to assess the anticipated long-term deflections of the concrete frame.

​

By determining the extent of deflection that had already occurred, we were able to simplify the detailing and minimise the need for movement joints, resulting in significant cost and programme savings for the the Contractor.
