The Trocadero building in London has undergone various transformations and served multiple purposes over its lifetime. Originally built as a restaurant in the early 19th century, it later evolved into a prominent music hall, hosting performances and entertainment events.

In the 1980s, it was redeveloped into a leisure and entertainment complex, housing arcades, shops, and restaurants. It became known for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse attractions, including a virtual reality gaming area.

Design input is now underway including works to the basement levels to create a multifaith prayer hall and community centre.

An additional floor is to be constructed within using engineered timber with exposed timber soffits and engineered timber columns.
